AS COMMISSIONED OFFICERS IN MEDICAL DEPARTMENT (134 COMBAT SUPPORT COURSE)

ONLINE REGISTRATION

Available Positions in the Medical Branch:

1. MEDICAL BRANCH (SPECIALIST) (SPSSC)

  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Rank: Squadron Leader
  • Age (as of 25 April 2025): 29-35 years
  • Training Period: 24 weeks
  • Qualifications:
    • MBBS: Least 2nd Division or proportionate from a Pakistani/foreign restorative college/university recognized by the Pakistan Therapeutic & Dental Board (PMDC / PMC).
    • Specialization in the following disciplines:
      • Child Specialist: FCPS / MRCP / MRCPCH / FRCP / FRCPCH / Diplomat American Board
      • ENT Pro: FCPS / MRCS (ENT) / FRCS (ENT) / Ambassador American Board
      • Eye Master: FCPS / FRCS (OPTH) / Ambassador American Board

2. MEDICAL BRANCH (GDMOs) (SPSSC)

  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Rank: Flight Lieutenant
  • Age (as of 25-08-2025): 24-28 years
  • Training Period: 24 weeks
  • Qualifications:
    • MBBS: Least 2nd Division or proportionate from a Pakistani/foreign therapeutic college/university recognized by the Pakistan Restorative & Dental Chamber (PMDC / PMC).

    • Must have completed a least one-year house work in an institution recognized by the PMDC / PMC.

    • Preference will be given to candidates with significant field encounter after the house job.

3. MEDICAL BRANCH (DENTAL SURGEON) (SPSSC)

  • Nationality: Male citizens of Pakistan
  • Rank: Flight Lieutenant
  • Age (as of 25-08-2025): 23-28 years
  • Training Period: 24 weeks
  • Qualifications:
    • BDS: Least 2nd Division or comparable from a Pakistani/foreign restorative college/university recognized by the Pakistan Restorative & Dental Committee (PMDC / PMC).
    • Must have completed a least one-year house work in an institution recognized by the PMDC / PMC.
    • Preference will be given to candidates with pertinent field involvement after the house job.

Ineligibility Conditions:

Candidates are ineligible if they meet any of the following criteria:

  • Rejected by ISSB or any selection board (GHQ / NHQ / AHQ) multiple times:
    • Twice rejected by ISSB for intermediate/Graduate (PMA / Graduate / Equivalent) or once rejected by ISSB and once rejected by GHQ / NHQ / AHQ based selection boards.

    • Twice screened out by ISSB.

  • Dismissed or evacuated from government administrations, counting Equipped Forces.

  • Convicted in a Court of Law for any intolerable offense.
  • Medically unfit for service due to Hepatitis B & C or other conditions (PUF by AMB).
  • Withdrawn from any Armed Forces college/institution on disciplinary grounds.
  • Tampering of academic certificates or forgery.

  • Thrice screened out by Armed force, Naval force, or Discuss Constrain amid preparatory selection.

Selection Procedure:

  • Online Registration: Available at www.joinpaf.gov.pk
  • Tests:
    • Intelligence Test
    • Academic Test (relevant subjects)
    • IME. and Interview at I&SC (Info and Selection Centre)
    • Physical Test:
      • Running: 1 mile in 8 minutes
      • Push-Ups: 15 in 2 minutes
      • Sit-Ups: 20 in 2 minutes
      • Chin-Ups: 3 in 2 minutes
    • Psychological Test for short-listed candidates
    • Interview by First AHQ Selection Board
    • Final Medical Examination at CMB (Combined Military Hospital), Lahore
    • Interview by Final AHQ Selection Board
    • Final Selection by AHQ based on merit
